Here’s a sampling from Martine’s senior photo session. She’s a senior and an exchange student in Cloquet, so we used locations from Cloquet for her session. From some of the trails near the Saint Louis river, to downtown off Main street, and finally a stop at Pinehurst Park rounded out the session.
A few photos from Amanda and Dave’s wedding held on 9/10/11. Most of the events took place at the Dakota Lodge. We did leave the site for a while to take photographs at the Landmark Center and at Harriet Island before returning for the ceremony and reception. Sarah and Evan got married over Labor Day Weekend with ceremony held at St. Hubert’s Catholic Church in Chanhassen followed by a reception at the Hilton hotel in Bloomington. Since it was such a gorgeous day a lot of the photos were taken outside the church as well as a stop at Centennial Lakes for some fun photos along the walkways. As dinner time approached we adjourned to the Hilton with a ballroom themed with wine corks and bottles celebrating their engagement that had taken place at Napa late fall.
Friday night was another nice night in Duluth that saw me venture out in Canal Park for Anna’s senior photos. She wanted to have them taken around Canal Park and out on Park Point. We started near Amazing Grace and then moved over to the rocks along the Lakewalk. From there a few photos with the lift bridge as a backdrop. After a clothing change we headed out to the beach at Park Point. We finished up her session on the sandy beach as the clouds rolled in as the sun was setting. Here’s a few from the session, full proofs up in a few days from now.
Britney came out to the studio tonight for her senior portrait session. We started with a casual look outdoors. After a clothing change, we were in the studio with a more classic formal look, followed by a pair of fancy heels and designer jeans. Finally, with the sun starting to set we headed back outside. We took advantage of the soft light as the sun was setting to finish out her portrait session. A few samples from this evening.
Was a gorgeous night in Duluth to be outside photographing Alyssa for her 2012 graduation photos. We started out downtown near Pizza Luce, moved on to Canal Park near the lift bridge, and then as the sun was setting finished up out on the beach at Park Point. It was a gorgeous day in Duluth for celebrating Carly and Traver’s wedding. We started out at the Suites in Canal Park for a few getting ready photos then it was off to The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary for the first site of each other and of course the ceremony. From there we made a stop on the shore of Lake Superior out at Brighton Beach, then adjourned to the Harbor View Room at the DECC for dinner and dancing. Jenn and I had a wonderful time working with Carly and Traver. Carly had the schedule all planned out and made for an easy day of photographing the beautiful couple.

Had a gorgeous Saturday night for Sarah and Evan’s engagement session. We started out around City Hall in Downtown Duluth. After a clothing change we switched to Lake Ave near Pizza Luce for an urban feel. It was a fun evening with lots of beautiful photos. Next up is their wedding down in the Twin Cities Labor Day weekend. Here’s a few samples to enjoy, more to come in the proofs gallery soon.
Victoria turned 4 months old last week so it was time for another session in the studio…
A referral late last week brought Claire and her parents came into the studio, here in Cloquet, to celebrate her first birthday with her own portrait session. A couple outfits changes, lots of crawling around, funny faces, and a tongue sticking resulted in lots of wonderful photos of Claire, a few of which are shown here.
