Duluth Bridal Fair

I just wanted to say thanks to all those that stopped by the booth during the 24th Annual Duluth Bridal Fair at the DECC. I had a good time talking with all the couples about their plans for wedding photography. For anyone wondering about the prize drawing, the winner was Tabitha from Hibbing, MN.

Sneak Peek of Alyssa’s Senior Photos | Duluth, MN

Was a gorgeous night in Duluth to be outside photographing Alyssa for her 2012 graduation photos. We started out downtown near Pizza Luce, moved on to Canal Park near the lift bridge, and then as the sun was setting finished up out on the beach at Park Point. Carly and Traver’s Wedding in Duluth, MN

It was a gorgeous day in Duluth for celebrating Carly and Traver’s wedding. We started out at the Suites in Canal Park for a few getting ready photos then it was off to The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary for the first site of each other and of course the ceremony. From there we made a stop on the shore of Lake Superior out at Brighton Beach, then adjourned to the Harbor View Room at the DECC for dinner and dancing. Jenn and I had a wonderful time working with Carly and Traver. Carly had the schedule all planned out and made for an easy day of photographing the beautiful couple.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Sarah and Evan’s Engagement Session in Duluth, MN

Had a gorgeous Saturday night for Sarah and Evan’s engagement session. We started out around City Hall in Downtown Duluth. After a clothing change we switched to Lake Ave near Pizza Luce for an urban feel. It was a fun evening with lots of beautiful photos. Next up is their wedding down in the Twin Cities Labor Day weekend. Here’s a few samples to enjoy, more to come in the proofs gallery soon.

Maternity portrait session in Duluth and along the Lake Superior North Shore

Back in 2007 I had the opportunity to photograph Karin during her first pregnancy out at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Here we are in 2011 and I was asked once again to take maternity photos before the birth of her second child. SInce my wife and I relocated to Northern Minnesota (just outside Cloquet) during 2010, this session took place in Downtown Duluth and out on Stoney Point off of scenic highway 61. Here is a few of the photo from the session last weekend.

Carly and Traver in Duluth

Some highlights from Carly and Traver’s engagement session that started out in Canal Park and finished up in Enger Park. A fun engagement session that started on the rocks of Lake Superior and finished overlooking downtown among the snow from last weekend’s storm.

Amanda and Dave

Amanda and Dave came back to some of Amanda’s favorite Duluth area locations for their engagement session. Started at Amazing Grace, down to the Lakewalk and the Lift Bridge, and then finished up at Enger park overlooking Duluth’s harbor. Was a great fall morning to get be out celebrating their engagement.
