Sneak Peek of Britney’s Senior Photos | Cloquet, MN

Britney came out to the studio tonight for her senior portrait session. We started with a casual look outdoors. After a clothing change, we were in the studio with a more classic formal look, followed by a pair of fancy heels and designer jeans. Finally, with the sun starting to set we headed back outside. We took advantage of the soft light as the sun was setting to finish out her portrait session. A few samples from this evening.

Sneak Peek of Alyssa’s Senior Photos | Duluth, MN

Was a gorgeous night in Duluth to be outside photographing Alyssa for her 2012 graduation photos. We started out downtown near Pizza Luce, moved on to Canal Park near the lift bridge, and then as the sun was setting finished up out on the beach at Park Point. Someone just turned 1 Year old… – portrait session in Cloquet, MN

A referral late last week brought Claire and her parents came into the studio, here in Cloquet, to celebrate her first birthday with her own portrait session. A couple outfits changes, lots of crawling around, funny faces, and a tongue sticking resulted in lots of wonderful photos of Claire, a few of which are shown here.

Maternity portrait session in Duluth and along the Lake Superior North Shore

Back in 2007 I had the opportunity to photograph Karin during her first pregnancy out at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Here we are in 2011 and I was asked once again to take maternity photos before the birth of her second child. SInce my wife and I relocated to Northern Minnesota (just outside Cloquet) during 2010, this session took place in Downtown Duluth and out on Stoney Point off of scenic highway 61. Here is a few of the photo from the session last weekend.

Carly and Traver in Duluth

Becky and Jamie’s Wedding at Grand Superior Lodge

Saturday was gorgeous day up along the shores of Lake Superior and even better that I got to help capture the memories of good friend marrying the women he loves. Becky and Jamie had a small intimate wedding at Grand Superior Lodge in Two Harbors, MN. We had a fun afternoon of photos at one of their favorite locations, Splitrock State Park ad then family and friends saw them exchange their vows at sunset. Congratulations Becky and Jamie!

Amanda and Dave

Amanda and Dave came back to some of Amanda’s favorite Duluth area locations for their engagement session. Started at Amazing Grace, down to the Lakewalk and the Lift Bridge, and then finished up at Enger park overlooking Duluth’s harbor. Was a great fall morning to get be out celebrating their engagement.
