Oplove: Krissy and Ella | Cloquet, MN | Moses Photography
Over the Thanksgiving Holiday I had the opportunity to do another session for Operation: Love Reunited. Krissy and Ella wanted to send their solider some photos that capture the two of them as well as the new sister who will be arriving in the New Year. Claire, Paul and Luke were with their parents at the studio for some updated photographs. As always young kids love to laugh, run around and generally have a fun time. All three actually sat together briefly before wanting to head in different directions. Have to love the energy and curious nature of kids!

Oplove: Rodney and Family | Cloquet, MN | Moses Photography
One of the volunteer photography projects I am involved with is Operation: Love Reunited. As an Oplove photographer I provide a no cost portrait session for a deploying solider and their family. Once the solider is deployed they receive a book made from the photos from their session at their duty location. Here a few photos from my second session here in Northern Minnesota with Rodney and his family.

Like Elora, Jimmy’s senior photo session was photographed in Wisconsin at Amnicon Falls State Park. The park provides a lot of opportunities for different backdrops from the trees, falls, rock formations, and the covered bridge. Here is a few photos from Jimmy’s session.

For Elora’s senior photo session we headed over to Wisconsin and photographed in the beautiful Amnicon Falls State Park. The day was a bit blustery but Elora thought about warm places as we wandered the park for her photo session.

Dustin and Vanya Get Engaged | Castle Danger, MN | Moses Photography
Dustin contacted me ahead of time wanting to arrange photography as he proposed to his girlfriend Vanya. Since they were traveling up to Lutsen we settled on the proposal occurring at Gooseberry Falls State Park. Just minding my own business while watching them out of the corner of my eye I waited for Dustin to to ask his question. In case you are wondering she said yes, and here’s a few photos capturing the proposal as it took place. Congratulations to Dustin and Vanya!

A sampling from Anna’s Senior Photos | Duluth, MN
Friday night was another nice night in Duluth that saw me venture out in Canal Park for Anna’s senior photos. She wanted to have them taken around Canal Park and out on Park Point. We started near Amazing Grace and then moved over to the rocks along the Lakewalk. From there a few photos with the lift bridge as a backdrop. After a clothing change we headed out to the beach at Park Point. We finished up her session on the sandy beach as the clouds rolled in as the sun was setting. Here’s a few from the session, full proofs up in a few days from now.

Sneak Peek of Britney’s Senior Photos | Cloquet, MN
Britney came out to the studio tonight for her senior portrait session. We started with a casual look outdoors. After a clothing change, we were in the studio with a more classic formal look, followed by a pair of fancy heels and designer jeans. Finally, with the sun starting to set we headed back outside. We took advantage of the soft light as the sun was setting to finish out her portrait session. A few samples from this evening.
